I’m Shawn, the self-proclaimed master planner and explorer extraordinaire. My husband Ed? Well, let’s just say he’s more of the spontaneous, meandering type. Somehow, we manage to strike a perfect balance, ensuring our vacations are a delightful blend of leisure and adventure.

Our very first trip together, as a couple, was to Key West for Ed’s 40th birthday. I remember saying to him that I never go back to a place I’ve been because there are so many places in the world to see. Well, that was 2011 and we have revisited the Florida Keys over 30 times.

We are absolutely in love with it, to the point that it’s become our ultimate retirement plan. Our goal is to immerse ourselves in the island life and truly experience it like the locals do. That’s why we are here to help you see all of what the island has to offer.

We are huge Parrot Heads, filled with a deep love for Island Time. We will forever cherish the memory of Jimmy Buffett. His spirit lives on in our hearts and is the inspiration for our website name.
